Am I a candidate for Thermage treatment?
You can see the effects in just one session. Based on clinical research, results improve over the next 4 to 6 months and may last up to one year.
Is the procedure for Thermage treatment painful?
Numbing cream will be applied before the treatment. When the treatment device makes contact with your skin, you may experience a short warming sensation, which is then followed by a cooling effect that safeguards your skin and reduces any potential discomfort.
When will I see the effects of Thermage treatment?
You may notice some results at initial, followed by more significant results over 2-4 months.
What should I do after Thermage treatment?
There are a few things you have to avoid :
- Avoid sun exposure and use a broad spectrum (UVA/UVB) sunscreen to prevent further sun damage
- Avoid heat – hot tubs, saunas, etc. for 1-2 days
- Avoid products containing tretinoin, retinol, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic/salicylic acids, astringents, etc. a few days post-treatment.
How long does the results last?
The effects can last for between one and two years after that, depending on your age and prior skin condition.
When is Thermage treatment not suitable?
Singapore Thermage treatment is not suitable when you are :
- A pacemaker or active implants
- Hypersensitive to heat
- Skin conditions like active eczema
- Pregnant
- Recently undergone a chemical peel or dermabrasion
